Scalable Law Terms and Conditions 

 

 

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your access and use of the Scalable Law community available at www.scalablelaw.com (referred to as the Platform). References to "we," "our," or "us" in this document refer to Scalable Law Pty Ltd.

 

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to the following:

  1. You have reviewed these Terms, including our Privacy Policy available on the Platform. If you are under 18, you confirm that your parent or guardian has reviewed these Terms on your behalf.
  2. You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement, or your parent or guardian agrees to the Terms on your behalf if you are under 18.
  3. You agree to comply with these Terms when using the Platform.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must cease using the Platform immediately. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time by posting updates on the Platform. You are encouraged to review the Terms regularly.

When using the Platform, we collect personal information to tailor our services and respond to your enquiries. This information may also be disclosed to third parties (e.g., hosting providers, payment processors) or as required by law.

  • Introducing malware or interfering with the Platform’s functionality.

Note: We reserve the right to remove inappropriate content and terminate access for violations.

 

Exclusion of Competitors

Competitors are prohibited from using the Platform or its content in ways that compete with our business. Breach of this clause may result in liability for losses or profits derived from unauthorised use.

 

Payments

Access to exclusive content requires payment of a membership fee:

  • Joining Fee: Charged on a recurring basis according to the billing cycle you select.
  • Payment Processor: Payments are processed via Stripe, and your payment information will be securely stored for recurring transactions.
  • Responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring payments are processed and covering any fees for dishonoured transactions.

 

Licensing

We grant you a limited, non-transferable licence to use the Platform. Unauthorised use, reproduction, or modification of the Platform’s content is prohibited without prior consent.

 

Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform is owned or licensed by us. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without explicit permission.

 

User Content

Users may upload content to the Platform. By doing so, you grant us a licence to use, adapt, and share your content as needed.

Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of the Platform’s content. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Loss of profits, revenue, or data.
  • Events beyond our control, including unauthorised access or interruptions.

 

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us for any losses or liabilities arising from your misuse of the Platform or breach of these Terms.

 

Termination

We may terminate your access to the Platform:

  • For Convenience: With 30 days’ notice.
  • For Breach: Immediately, without notice, if you violate these Terms.

 

Dispute Resolution

If disputes arise, parties must attempt to resolve them through discussions within 21 days before pursuing litigation.

 

Assignment and Severability

You may not transfer these Terms without consent. If any clause is deemed invalid, the remainder of the Terms remain enforceable.

 

Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in Queensland courts.
